1. SMS Consent & Communication
The information (including Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
2. Types of SMS Communications
If you have consented to receive text messages from Base-Fare, you may receive messages related to the following:
- Travel Delivery & Support: Flight status updates, check-in reminders, boarding pass prompts, and emergency Duty of Care alerts.
- Booking Logistics: Transaction authorizations, ticket payment links, and billing inquiries.
- Offers & Feedback: Relevant corporate airfare deals, trip follow-up messages, or service feedback requests.
Example text message:
"Base-Fare: Friendly reminder of your upcoming trip to London on Oct 2nd at 09:00 AM from JFK. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time."
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication and your travel volume. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week during periods of active travel to keep you updated on logistics and safety.
4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your overarching mobile carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally while you are traveling.
5. Opt-In Method
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Base-Fare in the following ways:
- Verbally, during a conversation with your dedicated Travel Manager.
- By checking the SMS consent box when submitting an online form.
- By filling out an onboarding/profile creation paper form.
6. Opt-Out Method
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive from us. Alternatively, you can contact your Travel Manager directly to request global removal from our messaging communications.
7. Help & Support
If you are experiencing any issues with our SMS service, you can reply to any message with the keyword "HELP". Alternatively, you can get help directly by contacting our support center or emailing reservation@base-fare.com.
8. Additional Options & Disclosures
- If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, simply leave the SMS consent box unchecked on any of our forms.
- Standard messaging text/data rates apply equally to STOP and HELP requests.
